HOME ABOUT US

Logistics’ role to support corporate strategy in drastically changing business environment of the 21st century is becoming more and more significant.

To fulfill the new logistical demands arising from the changes in global business environment such as borderless evolution of SCM for logistics optimization, expansion of administrative outsourcing and emergence of new business models like e-commerce, it is an absolute necessity for us logistics companies to be able to provide high-quality strategic logistics services. We at Nippon Logistech take pride in being the pioneer in this emerging field of strategic logistics.
Never a member of any corporate group since the foundation in 1959, we have been actively expanding business in the Tokyo metropolitan area and now, with the creation of comprehensive logistics through technology and information as our corporate motto, we offer such high-value-added “Logistech Solutions” as SCM and 3PL that feature the latest logistics andinformation system.

Message from Yugo Suzuki, President and CEO

President/CEO Yugo Suzuki

The word “logistech” in our corporate name will sound unfamiliar to anyone’s ears. This is the coinage from the words logistics and technology.
In this unique word to our own we put our ideal and hope to create a new, comprehensive logistics environment in Japan through technology. To make it a reality and in response to the customers’diversifying logistics needs, we have not merely expanded and solidified our core competence in warehousing business but ventured into new fields of operation including transportation and delivery services, real estate business, import and customs clearance, document storage and 3PL.

Today the business environment surrounding logistics industry in Japan is undergoing dramatic changes as epitomized by globalization of logistics activities, regrouping of industry segments and affiliates, and liquidation of logistics-related real estates through the entry of foreign funds into the Japanese market.
One of the great obligations of the business manager is to develop and sustain operation systems which customers can count on even under such changing circumstances.
In line with this, we withdrew from the stock market in 2007 with a view to bring about more drastic, swift reforms. The move, coupled with our independence from any industrial groups and our sheer belief in customer first policy, has made it possible for us to promote efficiency-conscious supply chain more quickly and more aggressively than ever before.

Logistics industry including warehousing business has long been regarded as a low-key but comparatively stable operation thanks to the inseparable assets of land and building. But not so immune anymore from the effects of economic recessions and drastic changes of business environment just as we in Japan have gone through the burst bubble in the 90’s and, in the 21st century, the IT slump and the international financial crisis.
Even in these difficult times, we are turning the ceaseless challenges into our advantages and responding to the customers’increasing expectations with secure and reliable logistics operations through continuous management reforms and sales efforts.
We have determined to keep at it and take on continuous challenges to better customer satisfaction and company growth no matter whether we are in the period of stable economic growth or new challenges, or unexpected changes.
Just keep your expectations high on the coming business evolution at Nippon Logistech.
